This removes the HUD, but will still display all the death notices as usual. If you still want to show death notices (in the top right corner of the screen) while the HUD is hidden, you can do so with a simple console command: Sv_cheats 1 cl_drawhud 1 sv_cheats 0 Show death notices You can copy the commands below and paste it into the developer console. If you want to turn on the HUD again, you just have to set cl_drawhud to 1. This will remove the FPS counter in the top left corner of the screen. Hud stands for Heads Up Display and is where you can see your health, how much ammo you have left and stuff like that.įortunately, it is fairly easy to turn off and hide the HUD overlay, so you can get crispy clean screenshots of demo recordings.
